1-2 lbs stew meat
12-15 lbs ground beef
A quarter steer is sold by hanging weight at a cost of $3.85/lb plus processing costs
Depending on the size of the steer, hanging weight will average 150-200lbs with processing costs of approximately $0.95/lb depending on cuts.
Final "take home" weight is approximately 65-70% of the hanging weight. You should expect 100 to 150 pounds of finished beef cuts.

A half steer is sold by hanging weight at a cost of $3.60/lb plus the processing costs.
Depending on the size of the steer, hanging weight will average 325-400lbs with processing costs of approximately $0.95/lb depending on requested cuts.
Final "take home" weight is approximately 65-70% of the hanging weight. You should expect 220 to 280 pounds of finished beef cuts.
$500 deposit required
At approximately 24+/- months of age, the beef is processed at a small USDA processing facility. It is aged for 2-weeks, then cut, individually vacuum sealed and frozen. We sell mixed boxes and quarters, providing you with a full range of cuts, not just those from the front or back half. Boxes include 1.5" thick steaks and 3-4 pound roasts. Half steers are custom cut to your specifications. We will be happy to work with you!
